When the world hit pause in 2020, my husband and I started dreaming about getting out and doing something different. He was already working from home, and I wasn’t working at the time—so we thought, why not go camping? We decided we are no longer interested in tent camping so we started looking at campers.  We quickly realized that the ones we could afford had years-long waitlists and the ones that were available were way out of our budget.





 That’s when we found our first vintage camper: a 1965 Play Mor 140. Just 13 feet from bumper to tongue and absolutely perfect for two people. This little camper led us on so many great adventures - and it sparked something in us. 

Now that both of our kids are out of the house, it feels like the right time to start a new chapter. I've always wanted to travel—not just a quick trip here and there, but to really live the nomadic life. It took a little convincing, but I finally got my husband on board, and we started looking for our "home on wheels."

Enter camper #2: a

It took a little convincing, but I finally got my husband on board, and we started looking for our "home on wheels."

Enter camper #2: a 1967 Ozark Luxury Liner. At 18 feet long and complete with a bathroom and shower, it felt like the perfect fit for full-time travel. Of course, it’s almost 60 years old, and vintage campers don’t always hold up well to constant use—so we’re giving it a full renovation to make it just right for our adventures ahead.
